THE HOTEL

The hotel, placed in the heart of the Natural Reserve of Sierra Mágina, is in the midst of a rich and varied patrimony, both natural and cultural. The magnificent enclave of the hotel turns it into the ideal place for engaging in all kinds of activities related to nature and the outdoors like trekking, caving, climbing or hunting. In addition, you will also be able to enjoy amateur and professional bullfights in the "plaza de toros" in the town of Torres.

ROOMS

The hotel has 61 rooms, all of them rustically decorated and with wonderful views. The rooms are distributed the following way: Three suites, 16 double rooms (with one large bed) and 41 double rooms (with two smaller beds) with a total capacity for 146 persons.

MEETING ROOMS

For banquets and celebrations the hotel has a 500m² hall with a capacity of 375 people for a banquet setting and 500 people for a cocktail. All of this complemented by special menus which are based on traditional dishes. In the business area, the Hotel offers three specific halls for company meetings and congresses with a capacity for up to 300 people. For this type of events, clients have auxiliary services and audio-visual equipment at their disposal.

RESTAURANT

The hotel Almoratin offers a select a varied menu with local produce so guests can choose whatever they wish. For dinner and lunch, the restaurant Almoratín offers a rich cuisine the joins local dishes and flavors.

SERVICES

Our facilities are provided with a wedding salon for 500 people, a cafeteria, a restaurant with capacity for 100 people and a meeting room for 50 people. There is a pool, garden and big parking.

HOW TO GET THERE?

To arrive by car to the Hotel Almoratin, you could drive through Jimena, Albanchez de Úbeda, Cambil, Pegalajar, Mancha Real. You could also arrive by plane to Madrid, Málaga, Seville, Almería or Granada and then rent a car. (a 4x4 is recommended to discover the green paths.)

WHAT TO DO?

The city of Jaén, of ancient origin, has important constructions that summarize all the centuries of history of the city. Among them the Arab Baths, built in the period of Abd-Al-Rahman II, also the numerous convents of the XVI century, among which you can find the Real Convent of Santo Domingo and the Cathedral, the latter built in the purest Renaissance style and which was declared a Historical-Cultural Monument.

Only 50 km from the Capital, you can find the Monumental Cities ÚBEDA and BAEZA. You can visit Úbeda, which is renowned for its crafts using vegetable fibre. There are records dating back to the 11th century showing the use of fibre crafts and nowadays wicker and other fibres are used. Pottery and ironwork is also very tipical of this region. In this city you can also visit the Church of Salvador. If you prefer privileged natural surroundings, any one of the numerous parks can be chosen within the Province of Jaén: Mountain range of Cazorla, Despeñaperros, Mountain ranges of Andujar and Mountain range of Mágina.
